BIO
After graduating from the Kansas City Art Institute in the spring of 2010 with a major in animation, I moved to Japan to submerse myself in the Japanese culture. While there I taught English to Japanese children aging from 0 to 13 years old and spent my spare time gaining inspiration and working on furthering my animation skills. After returning to the states, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my career in animation, where I was hired by Pure Imagination Studios to work on interactive theme park rides.
I specialize in Maya and Unreal, but a large part of my job is figuring out new software, and I thrive on a good challenge. My passion is in designing gameplay and giving the user the best experience possible.
I was raised in Colorado Springs, CO, and my hobbies include most of the outdoorsy stuff: rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, camping. I also enjoy making sculptures and costumes as well. I am one of those guys that goes by his middle name, Andy.
I have always had a love of art in the 3D, be it sculpture, costuming and prop making, or digital 3D creation. That is just how my brain works.
I enjoy hearing feedback about my work and am always looking for opportunities, so please feel free to contact me by email or at any of the above websites. Thanks for looking!
